QWhat is the difference between Freeze and Float in MCC PG counselling?

After a Round 1 or Round 2 allotment, Freeze means you keep the seat and report physically; Float means you give online willingness to be upgraded in the next round and join online. Both must upload documents on the MCC portal.[2]

QCan I resign a Round 3 PG seat?

No. Round 3 allottees must join; resignation is not allowed and the security deposit of a non-joining candidate is forfeited. Round 1 exit is free and Round 2 exit forfeits the deposit.[2]

QDoes MCC counsel state-quota PG seats?

No. State-quota and private-college seats under state rules are counselled by each state’s admission authority or Directorate of Medical Education.[2]
