MBA admission process — CAP rounds and institute selection
How MBA/MMS admissions work in Maharashtra through CET Cell CAP rounds, and how institute-level selection works for CAT/XAT-based admissions.
Admission process
In Maharashtra, MBA/MMS seats are allotted through the State CET Cell’s Centralised Admission Process using MAH-MBA/MMS CET (and other scores the CET Cell accepts for the year). Institutes that admit through CAT, XAT or CMAT usually shortlist on the score and then run their own group discussion / interview stages — follow each institute’s official notification.[1][2]
