Engineering counselling — JoSAA and Maharashtra CAP

How JoSAA seat allocation and Maharashtra CET Cell CAP rounds work for engineering admissions, with links to the official portals.

JoSAA

JoSAA conducts a single joint counselling for IITs (through JEE Advanced rank) and NITs, IIITs and other Government-funded technical institutes (through JEE Main rank). Registration, choice filling, round-wise seat allocation and reporting all happen on josaa.nic.in.[1]

Maharashtra CAP

The State CET Cell publishes the CAP schedule, merit lists, seat matrix and round-wise allotment for Maharashtra engineering admissions. Follow only the official CET Cell portal for dates and documents.[2]
