    Eligibility & Admission Criteria For MBBS In India

    For Study MBBS in India, the candidate must be a minimum of 17 years of age and not above 25 years at the time of admission. The general category medical candidate needs to score 50% marks in 12th grade, whereas the reserved category candidates must achieve a minimum of 40%. For AIIMS, the percentage is 60% for the general category and 45% for SC/ST and OBC. A medical candidate must have Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the primary subjects in 12th grade. NEET qualification with the required scores. is mandatory. Other entrance exams for which a medical candidate can appear include JIPMER or AIIMS entrance tests, Kerala CEE, Karnataka CET, etc.
