    About Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)

    Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a government organized computer based national level MBA entrance examination for entry into 1000 AICTE approved management programmes (MBA/PGDM) all over India. Till 2018, CMAT was conducted by AICTE, now the Test is conducted by the National Testing Authority (NTA) constituted by Government of India. More than 70,000 candidates apply for CMAT every year. Last year 74486 candidates had applied for the CMAT exam. CMAT offers a unique opportunity to all the test takers as none of them is disqualified in its result.

    CMAT Eligibility Criteria

    • The candidate must be an Indian resident.
    • Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree of minimum three-year duration or equivalent in any stream from AICTE approved institute/university
    • Candidates in the final year of their bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply for CMAT 2021 provided their result will be declared before admission for academic year begins. They will be required to submit their marksheet as proof of qualifying their final year examination during the time of admission.
    • There is no upper age limit for applying and appearing in CMAT 2021.
