    About Bachelor of Planning

    Bachelor of planning is the academic degree for undergraduates that train students in various fields related to urban human settlements such as designing, engineering, managing and overcoming challenges. The degree primarily focuses on environmental issues and its objective is sustainable development and managing natural resources. Bachelor of planning course is an undergraduate Architecture and Planning Degree course in India for four years.     Bachelor of Planning: Eligibility Criteria

    Candidates wishing to apply for the course need to fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

    • Completion of 10+2 level of education from a recognized educational board
    • A minimum aggregate of 50% at HSC level
    • Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level of education

    Bachelor of Planning: Admission Process

    Most institutes offering the Bachelor of Planning course admit students based on their performance in the entrance tests followed by a round of Personal Interview. Some institutes conduct their own entrance tests.

    A few institutes also provide direct admission to students based on their scores at the 10+2 level. Majority of the colleges in India accept the score obtained by candidates in the following entrance tests for admission to BPlan programme:

    B.Plan Course Fee

    The course fee for bachelors of planning course in India ranges somewhere in between 1-2 lakh. However, the course fee also depends on the type of college and the marks in entrance exams. For example, if the student has passed a national level exam, he can have a low fee structure as compared to the student with direct admission into the course. Similarly, a private institute offering B.Plan course will have a higher fee structure than a government college.

    B.Plan Career Options and Job Prospects

    After pursuing Bachelors of Planning, students can go either for government, private or self-employment. The various career options which student can choose from including:
